Advice on converting to a Custom Pin

I'm in the process of re-theming an old Williams EM into somehting new. I also enlisted the help of a friend to physically modify some of the game's features. I think the most important thing would be to find a base game that is actually fun to play. If you're going to be doing all that work...

SOLD Demolition Man playfield - $200 firm

Someone brought up recently that the pink neon insert rings looked faded. I know this is a concern with this game so I tried to take a few better pics (and not under my harsh workshop lighting). The original picatures are not a true representation of the playfield colours. They are a lot more...

    Ac/dc Pro Help

I don't think that's wear at the pop bumpers. You're seeing the threaded twist screw that goes into the playfield and is used to mount the pop bumper bracket from underneath. The white area to the right of that is just glare off the protective mylar.

SOLD Demolition Man playfield - $200 firm

I've got this Demo Man playfield that I stripped for parts. Condition is very good with just a few insert edges needing some basic touch-ups and then it's ready for clearcoat. NEW PRICE: $200 firm

Congo looks great! The only game in my lineup with no cards is Banzai Run... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for that one :) Hint.. Hint..

Bally Grand Slam (83) and Baseball Themes in General

If you're willing to go to an EM, Gottlieb made a few great baseball themed wedgeheads. GTB Baseball, Big Hit, Grand Slam & Batter Up just to name a few.

JPOP - MG, RAZA and AIW pics

Neat art! I love how JPOP hides little things all over his games. It's pretty easy to spot him as a zombie to the right of Neb, the alien. Just above Neb's helmet is Terry from Pinball Life. I wonder what other pinball folk made it onto the Playfield or backglass? You can definitely see the...

    SOLD Eight Ball

Looks like a super nice example. I recently sold my Eight Ball Deluxe and bought one of these. It is surprisingly addictive and a great pin to have some throw-downs on ;) That spinner shot is pure gold all day long and the pin is brutally fast and unforgiving when shopped and waxed. Good luck...

WTB Preserving a small piece of pinball history! Parts Needed

1947 Gottlieb HUMPTY DUMPTY For most people who have spent any time digging into the history of this great passtime of ours, Humpty Dumpty needs no itroduction. The very first game to have electronic flippers (designed by Harry Mabs with art by Roy Parker). While doing some woodrail...

WTB Preserving a small piece of pinball history! Parts Needed

1937 Bally Booster I think Bally really made a great stride with their 1936 game Bumper! They had just designed the first ‘bumper’ and what better name for the game that carried this new invention. To give you a sense of how old this really is, the newly invented ‘steel spring’ was used to...

WTB Preserving a small piece of pinball history! Parts Needed

Many of you here share my passion for restoring these great machines we all love. However, there is a small difference between restoring a game to make it beautiful and play better and restoring a game to physically ‘save it’ or bring it back to its original glory. It’s even more unique when...

    LOTR Premium Edition, complete!

Here are two that I did. Although I did make these layouts, I cannot take full credit for the idea. Tom Wibble did this a while back. The secret is to print these on magnetic paper (available at Staples/Business Depot, Michaels etc..) and just lay them over the original art so you don't alter...

    LOTR Premium Edition, complete!

The rule cards were downloaded. Check out pinball rebel, I'm sure that's where it came from. The brass plating was done by Mike Chestnut in the US. He's a bit more than using someone local (if you can find one) and it also involved buying a few parts new (like new style 'lollipop' rails and a...

Working on a new COFFIN mod for my BSD

Well, as soon as I can get some help with the scultping portion of this, I would imagine that the artist could then take a mold and reproduce the entire mod for anyone who might want to buy one. Maybe if we start a petition and get an idea on some pre-order numbers he might speed things up... I...

Working on a new COFFIN mod for my BSD

Well, the crates take up the exact same footprint as the original coffin and headstone.... which were already out of scale with the buildings and graveyard anyway. I short, it's not strange when compared to what was already there... It just takes up a bit more volume. Come by and see it if you...

    The THANKS-giving thread

Sending out a huge thanks to Mr. Cooke for his help is diagnosing and repairing the electronic "chime" section of my Interflip Dragon sound board. Now I can once again annoy the entire family with glorious bleeps, bloops and chirps!!! YAY!!!

Working on a new COFFIN mod for my BSD

I think anyone familiar with BSD is also very well acquainted with the horrible coffin figure; AKA Ron Jeremy frozen in carbonite. I recently had all my BSD buildings custom painted and the game is playing and looking great. It was time to banish this evil toy and replace it with something far...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

It's been a while since my last update. The holidays were really busy this year but I always look forward to the down time between Christmas and New Year and bank a couple of days to catch up on pinball projects. Firstly, it was time to finally install my utility sink in the shop/garage...
