Some Home Hardwares (like Weeks in Waterdown) give them away too. If you are taking a pinball to some shipper's terminals, then they will shrink-wrap your pre-packaged pinball to one of their pallets for you (or at least Maritime Ontario in Mississauga always has for me).
That's pretty common, but by the time it gets to that point you can hardly see the artwork for the clouded mylar and accumulated dust under it. So it's pretty much a given that you're going to be doing some touch-up or a scanned sticker.
I really love the Avery vinyl laminating sheet stuff, it...
Chris, This is what I've used for years now thanks to a suggestion from Bally Boy with superb results, it's very easy to peel off and yet stays on securely (way easier to replace than Mylar, thinner, clearer, less goopy, etc.)...
Sounds like a pretty normal entry in to the hobby tome, if you have the means. Some titles that everyone likes (or some people like) but you don't at first eventually grow on you, others fade rather quickly depending on your skill level and interests. For some hobbyists playing is more...
I must truly be becoming old. When I bought my first STTNG it was considered a "B" title and I paid something like $1750 from the US. (P.S. I am not shitting on the FS thread, I truly think the game IS worth $4K+ One of my favourites of all time and likely the game I will be buried in.) How...
Wipe Out's a good game for a starting collector even if, at first glance, the playfield looks a bit lame. The one thing that irks some people is the "stall" in the game as a ball rides up the ski lift, but the solemn mini-playfield is quite a clever device concept borrowed from old-school...
What I've seen before is companies going into insolvency and then selling (to pay out a portion of what was owing to the first line creditors), or sometimes even selling and THEN going insolvent ... either way it's a refinancing scheme at the expense of the lowest tier creditors.
Ad gone from Kijiji so it sold. Not to me. :-( Guess I am meant to continue to "save" money. I got the evil eye from the spouse when I casually mentioned "a potentially good price on ...." LOL
But if anyone has a reasonably priced Tee'd Off or Johnny Mnemonic or something "B" title in...
Not a peep from the Tee'd Off! seller. I gave my email and number and agreed to the price not long after it was posted. But I don't get into bidding wars on anything, can't afford to. We'll see, it's a a title I've wanted for quite a while and manage to miss when they were just scattered...
I've put in for the Tee'd Off (being the apparently last remaining Gottlieb fan ... lol) within a few minutes of being posted, been looking for one for a while now. Waiting to see if I hear back from the owner since they are very near where I am.
It is illegal to do anything but encourage mama to move the kids on her own. (That's what professional pest guys do, and the SPCA or Humane Society won't come for anything unless they are hurt or you are in danger.) She'll move to the neighbours then carry the young over one by one. I found...
This is not entirely true, films get made by start-up filmmakers all the time with licenses from various sources (although normally yes, there is a more experienced backer in there somewhere). And don't forget that the people running these departments are often 20-something themselves. I've...
In a just world, Skit B owning up and returning deposits (and FOX encouraging him to do same to rectify the situation, if that is possible) would be the "slightly less than" ideal solution at this point (being able to finish the project and deliver would have been the ideal one). Fingers crossed...
