    Lockdown bars (shipped) $20

Hi all. Today there was a kijiji add posted for pinball parts. Pinball machine parts on Kijiji http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=520074077 I've been emailing the seller to get the 2 lockdown bars for $20 each. But I'd rather not drive/Canada post them if I don't need to. Is there...

MiniPinball. iPad cabinet for pinball arcade.

I started by gutting an icade core. You need a security bit to remove the back side or the icade. Going off my rough sketches I started with the backbox. There going to be lights and a graphic behind the plexiglass and I'm going to mount some small speakers in the speaker panel.

    Hello to all! Newbie here.

Ive bought a couple economic pins ($300-$800) then once bored of them, I've traded them in for a better game. If you don't overpay for a pin, then it's fairly easy to sell them and get your money back out. if you have room for a couple games, then you can play your savings and get a feel for a...

FS FS ( Definitely NOT mine ) ~ Custom Pin

So many questions... Was it built for a music video? ...Or just by a superfan? ...Or by himself, for himself? ...or maybe a pinball dad for his daughter, and she doesn't like it? Very weird....

    Tim's Rescue 911 thread

Thats pretty slick! On mame builds I usually put a switch behind the coin return button; for insert coin. I like the phantom button idea to keep it clean looking

MiniPinball. iPad cabinet for pinball arcade.

I'd really like to find an actual lockdown bar to cut down to size. Anyone have any ideas for that?

MiniPinball. iPad cabinet for pinball arcade.

So here's the next project. I hope to squeeze this in before our house closing date. If it runs into October then it might take a bit to complete. This is just for fun, I thought it would be cool to have a tiny virtual cabinet to play on. I'm starting with an icade core to get the Bluetooth...

The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

Hmmm.. I'm intrigued. There's got to be a good back story to that one.

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

This is the inside of the cabinet, the LCD has been de-cased to have a clean look from the front. Two USB cables connect to the PC, there's wires for the pc speakers, power to the marquee lights and the quick connect for the service buttons. This is a close up of the service buttons And...

    SOLD WH2O

Re: WH2O FS/FT Ahhh... One of the games on my short list. And I just sold 2 pins so I have the cash, but it's all spoken for with our new home purchase. Good luck with the sale. A very fun game.

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

Ultimarc has a programming tool for the ipac board. So I completely changed the configuration. The mame default has crazy buttons for player one, shift, ctrl, alt... All the buttons that windows likes to use for hot keys. This can be a real problem for 4 player mame cabs because so many...

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

The top of the control panel flips up to reveal the inside of the box. All the switches are soldered together so there's no fear of something wiggling loose. The trackball and ipac2 connect thru USB to the PC. To connect everything to the ipac board it is very simple. Each switch gets one...

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of building the box, it all went fast. I ordered posters online to use as the marquee and control panel graphic. Just cut to size and fit in place. The marquee lights were already there, I just moved the bulbs around a bit. The box was built with 3/4"...

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

We discussed different layout options for the control panel. The placement of the sticks, buttons and ball is very important. Last thing you want to do is stub your fingers while playing a heated game. I did find a gremlin in the machine, so I removed her before the control panel went on...

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

The first step, once I got the game to my garage was to tear it down to an empty box. Originally the game had a heavy 19" CRT computer monitor that we were changing to a lightweight LCD screen. The "new" display was a used dell monitor off kijiji. The reason for getting a used display is that...

    Pearl Jam MAME update project.

I had a member of the revolution contact me to update his mame cabinet. It was bought years ago, kinda thrown together, but working. The computer was new-ish and working well. We decided to give the machine a good once over, improving everything along the way. When I mentioned ideas for a...
