Rigs only represent 5-6% of co2 emissions, so we're not going to be replacing carbon tax with that, especially since green hydrogen is likely to cost way more than diesel even with the carbon tax, and more than hydrogen made from natural gas.

Hydrogen is a non-starter for now, and that wouldn't replace the carbon tax for industry co2 emissions. As your friend Musk put it, hydrogen is "mind-bogglingly stupid".
