SOLD 1994 Bally SHADOW

Hey Guys,

I have this really nice Shadow. I think I'm done with it... have owned it twice now.
I'd like to throw it up here for trade but will also entertain a cash sale.
I've calculated roughly $2500-$3000 in extras, uprgades and new parts on this machine not including the time and labour involved. I'm going to ask $6500 if anyone wishes to purchase it outright. I don't think you'll find too many refurbished Shadows out there so it's hard to set a market value for this.

There isn't a ton on my want list any longer, but would entertain any trade offers that might include decent examples of either TWILIGHT ZONE, GODZILLA, BSD maybe even a STTNG.
I'm also willing to listen to other offers on games I have not yet owned, but the titles listed above would be the main ones I'd be interested in.


As for the machine, it's in excellent condition.
Here's a list of some of the work that has been done or parts added/replaced:

-The main cabinet was in really nice shape with nearly no fade and only minor nicks/rubs. However, it had some wrinkling around the legs. I stripped and repaired these areas with new black vinyl and added metal cab protectors so it looks almost like new.
-The head cabinet was completely stripped and new decals applied
-All new correct WPC95 era coin door installed
-All new correct legs installed
-Playfield was in excellent condition except for the typical sanctum wear that was starting to show. I filled the area with epoxy and applied a protective decal/mylar that was custom made by a guy on Pinside to match the game's artwork. It looks great IMO and a bunch of extra decals are included with the machine in case this one wears down.
-Half-moon mylar removed from slingshot areas and playfield was cleaned and polished
-All new repro (and improved) metal ramps purchased from Mantis
-All ramps, divertors and wireforms were sent for custom brass plasting to the late Michael Chestnut.
-Gun/shooter handle also re-chromed by Chestnut and protective sheild installed behind shooter housing.
-New alternate translite and speaker panel upgrade from Aurich on Pinside has been installed
-New repro CPR plastics set installed
-Plastic protector set installed and all new clear plastics added as well
-Drop targets on sanctum, VUK and upper 'Battlefield' taken apart and cleaned (spare brick target included)
-Battlefield target decals added
-Back panel brick decal added and flasher housings changed from orange to red
-All rings and mongol figures intact (spare mini-blubs for rings also included)
-Plastic ball-trough liner added
-LED lights added throughout machine
-DMD is perfect and the game is error free

The game has an upgraded woofer in the main cab and I've just added a brand new sheet of glass as well.

Please note that the game is currently running with my spare Rottendog board. I had recently removed the original to have menace give it a once-over. I should have it back shortly and can put it back into the game if the buyer prefers.

Anyway, this one has a lot into it so the price is going to be reflective of that. I'd rather wait and see if a trade can be made first.

May have to resort to calling up one of those guys on Kijiji that'll haul bulky, smelly and unwanted pinball machines out of people's basements free of charge... and even find them a new home!

I'm surprised he hasn't already offered you $500 to take that junker off your hands.

in all seriousness. it looks amazing and I would trade in a heartbeat if I had something worthy but I'm sure I don't.

Free of charge? You'd have to pay me to come and get that piece of junk out of your place!

I could even "store" it in my basement for you for a small monthly fee until you ultimately decided what you want to do with it. Just say the word and I will be on my way to your place within five minutes!

So, I've had some interesting offers on the game but nothing that has really made me jump out of my seat yet.
I guess the Godzilla owners out there aren't budging

If nothing materializes by the weekend I'll probably stick a cash price on the game and see what happens.
Looking around my crowded workshop, maybe selling it outright and gaining some space is the smarter move anyway.
