Cool facts. I loved my NES. Getting mine when I was 10 years old was a defining moment in my childhood! I still play a handful of my favorite games, albeit with an emulator instead.

Neat animation. Still have my original NES hooked up, and amazingly it still works. Other than having to clean the contacts every so often (and them being a little flaky to begin with), it's lasted much better than any of the disc based consoles... Funny how that whole design was just so the system didn't look like the 2600-apparently they wanted it to look like a VCR.
