I *LOVE* the V-Sauce channel on Youtube. It makes learning fun. I came across this video that explains the saying from the topic, and I thought it applies to the buying / selling of pinball machines quite well.

It's very interesting about the acquire-vs-loss he mentioned at the beginning. The other day I noticed I had lost $10 out of my pocket, and it bothered me for most of the day. But a couple of weeks before that I found $10, and for a moment, all I thought was "neat". Then didn't think about it again. I don't think I would have noticed that if I didn't watch that video.
