Way back when PBRev was first started, an anonymous member took it upon themselves to register the "MAACA.CA" domain and have it forward to http://www.pinballrevolution.com

This was pretty amusing at first, but a year and a half has passed now and I was recently reminded that this domain pointer is still in effect. I humbly request that the owner of this domain please either relinquish ownership to http://www.MAACA.org, or if you wish to remain anonymous then please have it forward to http://www.MAACA.org and let it expire accordingly.

If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to PM me or Azatotht over at MAACA here: http://www.maaca.org/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=2

No ill will is held towards you as Azatotht and I realize this was done in jest, but at this point the joke has run its course and has become a roadblock in the path to building bridges between the two sites.

The admins of both sites would appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Thanks

- Brock

I just contacted the admin owner of the domain via the CIRA contact form. Hopefully he/she will get that message. If not, I can on my server redirect requests, but quite frankly, it should be done right.

I am in BC travelling on work, and I hate screwing with the server (even if it is a little change) while I am on the road, I have very long days, and do not have ton of free time to being messing with nonsense.

Brock: Let whoever at maaca is complaining to know that I have contacted the domain owner formally with the CIRA process, if they want after that, CIRA ticket can be escalated and the domain cancelled at the registrar, or we can add a redirect if anyone is 'referrerd' via the maaca.ca domain. We can also see in the logs what users are connecting via maaca.ca and send out an email reminding them that the domain is going away.

Cheers
Derek
