Hello everyone, couple updates;

First, I want to thank everyone that has come out to the space and for your support!

I have added 15 Arcade1up's to the space. I know they aren't "real" machines, but they are still fun, I already had them and they fill in some of the gaps until we bring in more full sized arcade machines and pins. (They also give me something to play in the lounge when it's super quiet)

I managed to get an Insider Connected Leaderboard up and running last night.
I have it displayed on a new TV by the bar for now, but plan to have a TV mounted in the arcade for it soon.
I already have a bunch of TV's but am just trying to figure out the best places to put them, because they can not easily be moved once mounted.


I have also received some new décor lighting and have some more décor pieces on the way and hope to fix up the entrance in the next couple of weeks as well. I have received a more solid time line on the liquor licence; end of January/ early February. Meanwhile, I have added some non-alcoholic drinks to the selection offered and have installed a new fridge that actually enables you to see what we have for sale. Our first league will be starting Sunday, January 12 and details will be posted in the next few days. And finally, I now have gift cards available for purchase on our website.

PS: If anyone wants the old fridge for free, let me know. It is a Subzero BI-488S/O. The freezer works but the compressor for the fridge is dead.

That's not accurate at all. Not even close. No pinball place catering to serious pinball players has a dark room like this. Nor do any of the bigger events. They're all in large, bright rooms. This is more like an attempt at an after hours dance club scene. If that's the intent, then mission accomplished. If you want people to be able to see the games properly, then there needs to be better lighting. No one spends as much as Steve has on this many LE's and Premiums and hopes to attract clubbers.

I understand what you are saying but it's a pinball bar/lounge not a tournament hall.

Pinball barcade locations are usually darker. No different than places like Tilt or Cabin Fever.

As someone who spent countless hours in 100's of arcades for almost 3 decades, I have never in my life been in a brightly lit arcade. The space is intentionally dark. The whole point is to make it feel like an arcade/ club. I would never want to go to a brightly lit bar, nightclub or arcade. That would just seem completely wrong to me and completely kill the atmosphere. (Like going to a movie theater with bright lights!?) I have installed 18 sets of Pinstadiums on games where I feel the playfield is dark. The only machine I am contemplating adding one to is Jurassic Park, as (I feel) it is borderline too dark. Otherwise, every playfield has default (or more) lighting and I think is very clear.
I'm not saying you are wrong AlexRogan84, obviously there is personal preference and people have different light sensitivities, but you are the only person who has commented that it is too dark. If a large number of customers told me it was too dark, I would reconsider it, but for now, I will keep it the same.

There are lots of lights already installed, many on dimmers. They are all either on a low setting or (purposely) turned off.

Agree about JP. My 2 games with Pinstadiums are JP and STTNG as they just need that little bit of extra lighting. WOZ was another one I had PS on but I sold that game.

It's the Trash Panda Pinball League!
Antisocial Pinball is hosting its first league!
4 weeks of League action every Sunday evening!

League Outline:
The Trash Panda Pinball League will be divided two separate, but concurrent divisions; the “Beginner” division and “Pro” division. The “Beginner” division will be restricted to only allow players who are not within the top 1,000 IFPA ranked worldwide and/or within the top 100 IFPA rank in Canada at the start of each league season. The “Pro” division will have no player rank restrictions. Both divisions will not be sanctioned by the IFPA and will not accumulate any WPPR points.
Each player must pay the full standard admission fee for entry into the Antisocial Pinball Lounge as well as an additional $5 league registration fee during each meet.
Each registered player must also sign in with their full name, IFPA ranking (if applicable) as well as their personal email address.
Season 1 of both TPPL divisions will consist of 4 meets. During each weekly meet, groups of 3-4 players will play a pre-selected bank of 6 pinball games over the course of 4 consecutive weeks. All players participating in either division must arrive promptly at the start time of each meet and may not be allowed to participate if they arrive late. All players must attend all 4 meets and play all 6 games from each meet in order to officially qualify for the league.

The date and times for each TPPL meet:
Meet 1: Sunday, January 12th 2025
Meet 2: Sunday, January 19th 2025
Meet 3: Sunday, January 26th 2025
Meet 4: Sunday, February 2nd 2025

League scoring and ranking system:

Each of the 6 pinball games selected for each meet will be termed as an “Arena” and all of the scores from each participating league player from both divisions will be recorded on individual scoresheets under each “arena” and then separated by division. The names of each of the games/arenas that will be played will be listed on social media and via email at least 24 hours before each meet begins (game listing subject to change without warning due to break-down or availability).

For each division, the ranking of the scores at the end of each meet will be based on a seperate 100-1 point system. For example, the top ranking score in a division on an arena will be assigned 100 points, second top score in be assigned 95 points, third top score 90 points, fourth top score will be assigned 89 points and decreasing in order by one point down to 1 point. Any other qualifying scores below 1 point will be assigned 0 points.

At the end of all 4 league meets, the points accumulated by each play will be totaled to make an overall ranking score for that player’s final season ranking. There will be no playoffs or finals.

In each league division, the players with the top 5 highest ranking scores accumulated over all 4 meets will win some form of prize or award (TBD) at the conclusion of each season.

Tournament director and Rulings:

Tournament director(s) are allowed to participate in league play, however they will not be eligible to win any prizes/awards at the end of the season regardless of what division they play in.

All final rulings on games are to be determined by the league Tournament Director (TD) but will be guided primarily by the official PAPA/IFPA Tournament Rules Guidelines.
