Anyone have a recommendation for a HAND TRUCK?

Im going to be moving a couple of heavy items into the basement, so I guess its time to buy a hand truck, for future pinball moves as well.

Anyone have recommendations? I have a wide, curved flight of stairs, so Im thinking one with manual stair climber, but Im looking for an experienced opinion?

How "tight" is the curve? Any walls along the curve? Are the stairs carpeted? Assuming the hand truck is in the middle of the step, how deep is the step on the inside of the curve?

I have a hand truck with the stair climbing surface/track on the back. You do need to tilt the hand truck back at enough of an angle to allow it to "slide" along the track. Wondering if there would be enough of a clearance on the side if the curve is too tight.

The one that I have was a CT special from a few years ago, but I just checked and it doesn't seem like they have it listed anymore. Maybe check in store? It's just a regular appliance dolly with the ratchet strap built in, small hard wheels, tall back, and the rubber tracks on the back.

For all the dolly/hand truck's I have seen in use at different member houses, this one has had the least issues. Also to note: Princess Auto has a great return policy and Evaporust by the bucket

I've had this dolly for about 6 years and it's completely fallen apart on me, I CANNOT recommend it. The track on mine fell off and the built-in ratchet strap no longer works.

I've heard good things about the Princess Auto one, though..

I agree with the PowerFist, you want the type whose strap doesn't have ratchets for ease of use and longevity. AND it's on sale right now at Princess Auto $75

Good to know-mine was OK the last time I used it, but then again I've probably only used it half a dozen times. That princess auto one does look like a better unit though.
