I like both the Molotow and Ironlak paints but I use the standard nozzle from the Ironlak cans. So for a stencil job, pick your color and go.

Exactly. I think I posted that somewhere a while back too. The Molotow and Ironlak paints are great, but the nozzle from the Ironlak is perfect for covering large areas well while Molotow's stock nozzle isn't the best for large coverage. I always hold on to them even after a can is depleted and just throw it into some thinner. They are interchangeable with the other cans for the most part.

So what would be a must have to restencil a cabinet or touch up inserts black lines on a playfield?

1) stencils (purchased or make your own)
2) paint (the two mentioned in this thread are my favorite)

That's pretty much it.

For minor repair to black key-lines on the playfield, I like the black MOLOTOW paint pens. You can get them in different thicknesses but the thinnest ones don't hold up for very long. If the key-line is very complex or the damage is bad, you're better off using a stencil and maybe even airbrushing. Depends on what standard you want to achieve.

Thanks.

Harlem, JP and EBD could definitely be good candidates for a stencil job...

I am still on the fence if I should try to do it myself or contact our own spiroagnew..

So I went to place an order last night.
There's free Ontario shipping on any order over $50

It was complicated figuring out how to even apply the code for free shipping. Once I did, I noticed the site said that I already had another 'coupon' active and would not give me the free shipping. Seems that offer has been suspended during this sale.

So $15 shipping in order to save about $10 on 6 cans and 6 pens. Not exactly worth it for me as I can just drive to the local.Curry's... but I guess it's okay if you don't have that option.
