Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Bluffs Playoffs End of Season Tournament takes place on Saturday April 16th. Doors open at 5 pm, tournament play starts at 6 pm sharp. All players should check in by 5:45 pm please.
This is an OPEN tournament. All players are welcome, and encouraged to come out, but we need numbers confirmed by Thursday April 14 so we can arrange food and machines.
Food will be provided. We will be bringing in sandwiches from Amazing Shwarma, an excellent local restaurant. In your RSVP please indicate Chicken, Beef, or Vegetarian, and Spicy or not spicy. If you have any food sensitivities or allergies please add that to your RSVP Pop, water and chips will also be provided.
The tournament will be a head-to-head match play tournament. The computer will generate opponents and a machine to play on. The winner reports the score into the computer. After all matches per round are complete, a new match is generated. The winner in each match gets a point.
We will play as many rounds as possible, but no new round will start as of 10 PM.
We will qualify as many people for the playoffs as possible, but it will be groups of 4 playing a ladder playoff system. If we get less than 16 players, 4. 16-23, 8. 24-31, 12. 32+, 16. The last player in each group is eliminated each round, and we will play until there are only 4 left, top two in that game play a head to head final, bottom two get a bronze medal match. Games will be drawn at random for the playoffs.
Cost is $10 if you've paid your season 1 dues, and $30 if you haven't. Feel free to bring out additional players, this tournament is open to all.
