Opinions? Found the Boulder Arcade Factory through eBay, but I will be buying directly through his site above. I'm looking at getting a Williams key holder. He will charge $48USD shipped to my US address. Not a bad deal. I've still got all my machines keyed with their original plastic fobs, so this is a good game room accessory, in my opinion, to display them. Any other options as to where to get something like this or anyone have past experiences with BAF? Not one to spearhead a group buy, but if someone wants something priced out and tacked on to save on shipping, I will inquire.

Williams key holder arrived safe and sound. Shipped without key hooks installed (provided) as to prevent damage. Looks pretty nice. Has all the fit and finish of something I'd be proud to hang in my gameroom. For a custom piece, it was made a shipped pretty quick! As stated before John from Boulder Arcade Factory has a few different sign designs, most from the video arcade world...but he asked me for some suggestions for pinball pieces. The first that came to mind was a yellow sign with black text bearing the words "Inspected by J. Santiago". How cool would that be hanging in your gameroom? Less esoteric for those of us here, thanks to Mr. Menace.

Little hands seem to like to play and, worse, chew on the keys and fobs. Need to be kept out of toddler arms' reach.

It looks great and have seen John's hanging key holder signs many years ago when I use to be active on the KLOV forums. Anyways, for those who hate losing or looking for their keys there is a keyless alternative here. The problem with this is little ones can open the coin door and poke around inside.

Actually, worse than that is lose/hide the keys :) One of the reasons I thought about getting everything keyed alike, but instead I"ll just keep some spares stashed elsewhere.

Besides, I've had problems on some machines with keys getting bumped into the lock and the coin door opening mid game, which kills the flippers. Always seems to happen at the most inopportune times too.

I would consider that one!

Possibly useful for those that DO keep their keys in the machine (used to be common practice in home machines with EMs that didn't have FREE PLAY setting...):

It took a while having doors open on me to learn that if you just pull the key out one notch, rather than have it all the way in, the lock won't open during games with a lot of nudging.

Also, if anyone is interested in converting their machines to keyless (but more secure than the type with knobs), I have a gross of black, keyless locks to sell. You use a coin or a screwdriver to open them. Safe for young kids, no lost keys. But older kids can open the machines.
