Buying an used Stern

So I read the buy guidelines (http://www.pinballrevolution.com/threads/•-buy-sell-trade-guidelines-•.108/) but, since it'll be my first time buying a Pinball machine, what are the questions I should ask the seller ?

If the machine is to far from where I live, what are the photos I should ask for ? And what are the options we got in Canada for shipping ?

I usually look for a pinside owners thread and see what common problems to look for.
On most newer machines the owner can take you through the audits menu and show you the tests, service reports, etc.

For shipping in Canada Day & Ross or Manitoulin. Ask for a video of the game working if you can't see it in person. GL.

You can ask someone in that area if they could go check out the game on your behalf, preferably another Pin Rev or MAACA member. You can ask for references from others (more experienced) members.
