Well, this little tiny huge nation has come a long way in 10+ generations since 1867.
I could say a lot, but let's start with a few facts first and go from there for starters.
Canada is a fantastic place to live on this large ball of blue and green.
Canada is 150 years old as a nation this year.
Montreal is 375 years old as a city.
HBC is only a couple years younger than Montreal is and is the oldest corporation in North America.
Canadians are a resilient bunch. Nice, humble and honest for the most part, quick to help and some of the nicest folks on the globe.
We don't brag much, but we created, invented and generally influenced the modern world in ways far beyond our own intentions.
We have a lot to be proud of, as a country, as individuals and as forward thinking people that wish to progress onward, with curiosity if not yet true wisdom.
We try. And we succeed. And we fail. And we proceed. Glass 1/2 full and filling up as always from this one citizen. Happy Birthday my friends. Keep flipping forward.
All the very best.
