FOUND CFTBL Hologram or LCD mod

MikeD LCD mod Found

Recently acquired a CFTBL but unfortunately the Creature drowned in the black lagoon.

Everything seems to work fine but the hologram is dead.

Any help will be appreciated.

What's dead about it? I was going to say both motors are readily available from marco but it looks like they are out of stock.

I gave away my old hologram mechanisms to my friend who has a Creech because I have the LCD mod and don't see myself going back. I will warn you it is not cheap and by the time it was all said and done cost me $650CDN. That was when the exchange was slightly better then today too. Keep an eye on this 19" Insignia LED TV used for the LCD mod because it does go on sale from time to time at BestBuy for $89.99-99.99.

The motors are fine but the hologram is all black even under sunlight. (See attached picture)

Do you still have your old Hologram? Even if its blueish, it will be better than nothing.

I will check when I get home later otherwise I might have given that away to my friend too. If I did I'm sure I could get that back from him
and it's yours as his hologram is still very green.

It's not much of a break down as the kit MikeD provides is pretty complete. There is an optional power adapter I think he carries now which plugs into the service outlet. It is used to power on the LCD screen so this way you don't have to tap into the coin door interface board for power.

I got lucky and didn't get hit with brokerage, handling or taxes too! I thought for sure I would since bigbossfan and I combined and shipped our order together.
