Cineplex opening new "Rec Room" game center in Square One

I saw this story online the other day about Cineplex taking over the old Target (which I think used to be Zellers) space at Square One. Sounds like it's going to be a more upscale/adult targeted Playdium? This is a little odd, since Playdium is just across the street from there... I wonder if they're going to keep both running, or scale Playdium back and maybe expand on some of the outdoor stuff like the batting cages and go-karts?

Wonder if the new location will have any pins, and if so, whether they'll be any better maintained than what's at Playdium now?

Thanks for the posts, I hadn't heard this. Sounds like the same basic concept as Dave and Busters which is fine with me. I can see hanging out here a few times a year if the beer isn't too expensive.
