INTRODUCING OUR NEW RGB LED DISPLAY!

The new ColorDMD LED display contains 128x32 individual RGB LEDs and form factor similar to conventional DMD displays. A pilot production for the new LED display has been completed and will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, August 2.

So it's $30 cheaper than the LCD version? Why would I buy the LED over the LCD for $30? Someone school me because maybe I'm missing something.

Id really like a beginner guide on theses too. I'm waiting for GoT before I buy one, but its all a little confusing. Sigma, hi-res, led, lcd. I don't know the best option to get. Although the I have some time before they release a full colour rom for GoT.

The LED version will fit into games that the LCD physically cannot. (Like CV and some of the DE games) Regarding which is better will come down to personal preference, and how well the LED version is coded because that tech does have limitations the LCD does not. (like LED ghosting etc)
