ColorDMD FaceBook
This was posted a few days ago and looks pretty good to me even though it is single color but uses ColorDMD's Sigma display for Stern games running Whitestar such as LOTR or TSPP.
Here it is Tron running in classic dot mode on a Tron. The scaling used above works but they have some enhancements planned to utilize the extra shades available from the SAM platform.
Hopefully the more platforms this supports will help bring the cost to produce and price down. I know a few people on pinside have already expressed interest for ColorDMD to work on a replacement for the Sega games that use the oversized DMD (192 x 64) which typically costs 3x as much as your standard DMD (128 x 32).
Just something to consider in the future if one of the DMD's in your game is gassing out or dying and want to make a subtle change to your existing games whether it be Bally/Williams or Stern.
Also in case you haven't seen or heard, Monster Bash is next up for the ColorDMD treatment
