I got a chance to try this out last night on Nick's AFM, and the high res upscaling doesn't look great. Everything looks a little like melted wax... The "scan" option seemed a little better though, and some of the other modes (8bit, tile) were interesting too. If nothing else, it's great to have the choice of modes.
