ColorDMD is excited to announce Royal Rumble as the 73rd title to be supported by the ColorDMD multicolor pinball display platform! Get yours just in time for Wrestlemania 34, kicking off on April 8!
WWF Royal Rumble is the debut release by ColorDMD newcomer and... get this... professional wrestler"Textbook" Philly Madison! Philly was an avid wrestling fan in the early 90's when WWFRR was made, so much so that when he turned 18 he went to wrestling school and became a wrestler himself and still performs today!
"Textbook" is an apt description for Madison, as he's endeavored to make this color release as accurate as possible, down to the smallest details. And we put his work to the test, sending WWFRR through a beta cycle that included hardcore fans and professionals on the production side of professional wrestling. We're happy to report Phil passed with flying colors!
Phil resides in New York, and when he isn't performing in the ring, you can catch him on Pinside posting under his handle phillymadison!
The ColorDMD LED display for Royal Rumble pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms. Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site. ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with any of our supported titles.
