When the reels are spinning up double-sevens, it's time for ColorDMD to hit the casino! We're excited to announce that Jack*Bot is the 77th game to receive support on the ColorDMD multicolor pinball display platform.
Veteran developer, Dave Timmer, returns to deal up all the full-color action in Jack*Bot. Dave recently completed work on Game of Thrones and has been the lead developer on seven other titles including Shadow, Apollo 13, and Terminator 3. Dave has also been a contributing developer for many other titles including Star Trek and Transformers.
When Dave isn't busy coloring games or suggesting and helping test new features, he runs a successful A/V business in Michigan with his brother. Dave owns a large eclectic collection of pinball games, and loves the challenge and quirkiness he finds in some of the less widely owned titles. Intergalactic casino with a dice-running fembot? Yes, that fits!
The ColorDMD for Jack*Bot pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms. Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site. ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with any of our supported titles.
Displays are shipping now from our store site and through our distributors. The color ROM for Jack*Bot pinball machines is targeted for release on Friday, June 8!
