Game 61 is No Fear!
Hot on the heels of our 60th title, Rocky and Bullwinkle, ColorDMD is back to announce that No Fear: Dangerous Sports is the tenth new game to receive multicolor support in 2017!
Serendipitously, No Fear is also the tenth game colored by Eric Priepke! Eric's previous titles include Tales from the Crypt, Junk Yard, Ripley's, The Walking Dead, Batman, Spider-Man VE, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the Flintstones.
Eric works fast... really fast... like so fast that he's usually racing three titles ahead of production while spelling 'aerials' on his keyboard! So what better title than the fast paced action sequences of No Fear? Eric is so fast that when asked what new information we could share, he was already busy working on his next title and sent only
"Eric hates these bio things -- WOO NO FEAR!"
To that creative and insightful depiction, we add the following... Eric lives in Wisconsin where he and his wife Liz enjoy pinball, board games, rollercoasters, and saving for college. On quiet nights at home, Eric relishes visits from his affable, but sometimes oddly attired, friend Jay who brings truckloads of games with monochrome displays for the family to enjoy. [Thanks Jay!]
Besides his work with ColorDMD, Eric is well known for authoring Cactus Canyon Continued. In the future, will likely be coerced to work on Jay's next game or test-pilot a life-threatening pinball contraption the world has never seen. [Good luck Eric!]
The ColorDMD for No Fear pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms. Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site. ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with any of our supported titles.
Displays are shipping now from our store site or through our distributors. The color ROM for No Fear pinball machines is targeted for release by Friday, July 21! A video is planned to precede the release. For more information, please visit us at www.colordmd.com.
