ColorDMD Announces Game 60!
ColorDMD Displays is excited to announce support for it's 60th title, Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends! The display for R&B utilizes ColorDMD's RGB LED panels, which easily replace the monochromatic plasma displays that shipped with the original game. R&B will be the ninth new title released in 2017, and the second release for developer Jeff Collins!
Jeff previously delivered ColorDMD support for Pirates of the Caribbean pinball machines. In truth, he actually started work on R&B prior to Pirates, but unfortunately the project was put on hold when we could not find a backbox mounting solution for the original ColorDMD LCD display. With the introduction of the company's new smaller LED panels late last year, Jeff was able to return to and complete R&B!
Jeff resides in Prairie Village, Kansas with his wife Kathy. Their daughter Maddie attends Kansas State University and, and son Max will complete high school this year. A programmer and avid pinball enthusiast, Jeff loves to share his collection of over 60 machines! Recently he and Kathy held a fundraiser for the American Heart Association and raised $12,000 in one night!
The newly designed ColorDMD LED pinball display contains 128x32 individual RGB LEDs. The compact design is similar in size to a conventional DMD and allows easy installation in Data East games. All ColorDMD LED displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms. Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site. ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with other supported LED titles.
Displays are shipping now from our store site. The color ROM for R&B pinball machines is targeted for release by Friday, July 14! Watch our site and Facebook page for upcoming previews from R&B, as well as future product updates and releases! For more information, please visit us at www.colordmd.com.
