Creating Top Tier Arcade Version 1.5 Part 1: Floor Plan Ideas

It has begun…The upgrade to Top Tier Arcade Version 1.5! With all 22 games in the garage, my wife Mary and I converse over the floor plans in the basement and ideas on which games will go where. Plus, Doug stops by to help me move the 7 pinball machines from the garage to the basement using the “ramp” I made.

Creating Top Tier Arcade Version 1.5 Part 2: Arranging 20 games in the basement


Things are starting to come together, nicely. Poor Doug comes back to the house to help me take down the arcade machines to the basement. Can you guess which game was the hardest to take down? We were surprised, too!

One thing... if the Street fighters were on the wall and Frogger and Mrs. P were off the wall The fighting games match the height and theme while the other two aren't as tall and don't match the theme so could be put anywhere. No criticisms just OCD probably from moving mine around haha House looks amazing and very happy for you! Thanks for the video and God bless!!!! Michael

You have a valid point, Ms. Pac-man and Frogger are out of place based on theme. I wanted to put those games there because they are one player and less people in a tighter area. I want to see how it works out with them there, but my wife actually wants me to change the layout as well once I fix all the games and we get furniture. We'll see. I'm sure over the years, I will shift around the games more than once. Thank you for your input and kind words, Michael.

We are making great progression! The basement gets a TV mounted, Mortal Kombat 2 gets picture, Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition gets sound and Double Dragon turns on!

Plus, a quick peak at my new upstairs TV and what plans I have for a new set of video series coming in the near future.

Creating Top Tier Arcade Version 1.5 Part 5: Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct 1 & 2 WORKING!!!

Yeees!!! In this great video, we get Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct 1 & 2 WORKING! I open the games up, check power supplies and swap Eprom chips and turn the games on for the first time in 7 years...Plus, fun stories about the games being in the movie IT Chapter 2 (2019).

Let's Goooooo! We get Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike working!!! Doug stops by and helps diagnose what's wrong with Robo-War and fixes it and also, fixes my gas fireplace, lol!!! Check out how we did it, as we inch closer to get all the games working....
