I am just wondering if this has ever been done.
My brother has a DE Simpsons that will no doubt need a playfield in the future but due to the licencing I am confident that CPR wouldn't want to have to pay licencing fees.
One of my pinball associates seems to believe that these kind of projects could be crowd sourced...
I don't think it would be cheap but at least at you could identify the interested parties right away by their donation.
