DIY shooter rod want end ideas

Looked at a few threads on this.
Appears to be not all that hard if you have the right tools.
Or the right friends with the right tools.

Now just a matter of finding items to drill out to make into shooter rods.

Looking for some ideas for items to drill out for my 2 pins

Aerosmith:
Dice, cigarette lighter, rat head, jack in the box head.

Heavy Metal:
Mini Green billiard ball with # drilled out (Loc Nar), claw holding green gem (ebay?), B 17 coin/chip, zombie head.

Could use a few ideas.

Best to get a few, weird shapes can be hard to drill.

make sure the shapes you use do not have an up or down , big headed figures tend to not stay straight upright , and always turn

I have heard that is an issue with the Aerosmith Stern 'Jacky' rod.

do you have shooter rods , to glue into figures ?

I have done a few myself, but I prefer a round-ish knob vs. something that is irregular. I either drill the end of the rod to accept a threaded bolt or put threads on the end of the rod and screw the knob on. Much easier than it sounds.
