Damn....I used to have one of these...a1985. Super fun car, but after my recent experience with Mikes sports car I realize my ass is now solidly minivan-sized...

Good luck with the sale!

Would you do a straight trade for a HUO DE Torpedo Alley?

Nice ride Duane and good luck on your sale.

Re: FS: 1984 RX7 GSL SE (100,000 kms!)

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I love the Rx7. Beautiful lines and such a lovely interior as well. The first gens are such a nice and easy driving car. Handle wonderfully with a light clutch. Heaven.

I have so many good memories of the 7s. I bought my first one after graduating university. I've had 3 in total and all in great shape with no winters. When I got married, I had my second. I sold the first to buy an SE. When I got married, I had no money as I had just started a business. For our honeymoon, we took my 2nd RX7 and spent two weeks in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. What an incredible honeymoon. We alternated between staying at inns and camping. When we came back, the car was filled with things we bought during the honeymoon. We still have the antique pewter wine goblets and coffee cups to this day. Every Christmas, we put up Christmas ornaments bought during our honeymoon.

Not sure why I shared the above....perhaps to show my love of the car. I looked long and hard for this one. It's the nicest of the 3 I owned.

Cheers,
Duane

Because you love it and what it meant in your life, and you are a bit sentimental! :)

OMG, I think Walt would hate having to get out of my Corrado cause it sits very low to the ground!
