I have a 1975 Gottlieb super soccer. I had 75% of it working and then I broke two wire off of somewhere. These two wires go to a spot on the inside of the cabinet near the left flipper where each is attached to another wire, one of them is black with yellow and one is black with red. These two wires go to the second and third terminals on the Jones plug which I assume is for the change door. The first terminal on the plug is empty. Where did these two wires come from and what can I do with them to make my game run again? Right now when I push the play button on the door the score motor keeps running and the lights flash off and on. Help!

I cannot see where these two wires connect to, sorry - not sure they are original ?
For the score motor always running - Player 2 & 3 are not reset to 0, so the score motor will keep turning at game start until the machine has properly reset all score counters and steppers to their zero position. Issue is probably misadjusted or dirty score counter contact(s), score motor contact(s) or relay(s) contact(s) - and probably not related to those two disconnected wires.

I did have that problem with the score motor but the scores that would not reset kept trying to reset. This is different. The score motor runs and all the lights are flashing on the play field. The reason I think it is those two wires is because I had played for a couple of hours and the scores weren’t all going to zero but the machine was playing properly. Then I opened the change door a little too far and it pulled those two wires off. I have read that some machines have anti theft contacts in the chang door. Have you ever heard of that? I think that will be my next move,
