Gottlieb system 80b battery replace

Hey everyone, looking to replace the old data sentry battery with a cr2032 holder and battery. Any one have any experience here?. I have found a few pics but thats it no real explanation.

all done, became much clearer after removing the old battery ..

Great, you thought about the need of a blocking 1N400x diode so that the MPU would not try to recharge the new CR2032 battery.

Thank you Sylvain, I didnt realize the original battery had 4 pins, and got a little confused until I got the board oriented the right way lol, all good now.
