This machine is well kept for and has no fading on cabinet or playfueld. I would say playfueld is 10 outta 10. Everything is working fine and has no issues. Was recently shopped out by a technician. Asking for $2350
Interesting on how you educated me on the accurate price of WCS but post your HG for $2350 when the book value says $1075usd which is about $1300 CAN. Seems that you can price police others but not yourself. GLWS
Mikey don't like price police . I'll give ya the pinside estimated price for your WCS.
Globetrotters is a fun game, GLWS
I'd argue there is more value here on this game then the WCS
This HG seems to be in exceptional shape, cabinet looks really nice, no wear on any of the holes, artwork is all in tack, correct spinners, looks recently shopped. the BG would be the only issue as I can see some paint missing, but still looks like an above average machine, hence an above average price.
Where as the WCS is average at best, from the pictures I can see chipping and wear on the Final Draw hole as well as the saucer at the top for the goal and the free kick saucers. Also looks like inlane wear at the left ramp returns and a huge chunk missing from the front of the cabinet, I'd bet good money there are cracks at the left ramp entrance. Sitting right beside that window, cabinet fade doesn't seem out of the question. On top of all that, the ball trail all over the inalnes and ramps indicates a shop job is going to be necessary. But yet it commands an above average price....
End of the day people are going to buy what they want, but if they asked me I'd say if you could get this HG for $1800 - $2000 you'd be doing ok as it's in really nice shape. But that WCS, I'd say if they paid a cent above $3K they would have just been ripped off...
Thanks for chiming in but my points in this thread are regarding hypocrisy and not to do with machine value. I found it funny how Elias pointed out I was posting above the book value on my friends game but then did the same shortly after for his game.
You are still missing the point entirely Becker. I don't care what he's asking for his machine and I am not arguing the value of it. This is not a pricing or value argument. The hypocrisy point is completely separate from anything to do with value or pricing but you are combining them. If someone tells you you shouldn't do something but then does it themself that is hypocrisy. In this case it relates to pinball pricing but it is not the issue whatsoever.
Your point may be valid if I was referencing the Becker value but am not.
But that WCS, I'd say if they paid a cent above $3K they would have just been ripped off...
Ok Mike, you can rip me off, I'll give you $3000.01 for WCS.
