I would suggest a gut check when looking at pinball ads on Kijiji. If it feels to good to be true (like your gut is saying) then it’s probably not true…..don’t get caught.

The big alarms you should be asking yourself is why does this game seller have such a nice game and knows all the add on/mods made to it yet he is asking a low ball price? Someone that does not know pinball or does not know their pinball machine true values won’t know all the exact details of their game and likely won’t know what mods they added.

If they can remember their mod list for the purpose of the Kijiji ad, then why can’t they can remember it’s true value? Alarms should be ringing in your head at that point.

Just some food for your thoughts…sorry to hear you got caught by these scammers.

Flagged. This guy is a pain in the ass. Another give away is when it is a new user on kijiji. Nice job stopping this guy, with the warning on Kijiji, thanks.

Another reason never to give a Kijiji seller a deposit is their join date. This guys ad shows he joined Kijiji in 2022…..Huge Alarm!!!!!

I am sure this guy is using ghost phone numbers which you can create over the internet. Difficult to trace without assistance from the police.
