Hi guys. Need help! My Bally Space invaders have a problem. During the moment im playing my first ball, the ball counter display switch to the second ball, and a bit later to the third ball. Maybe the swich that detect the ball when you die have a problem. HELP! Thanks!

Does it do anything else or just change the ball#?
Usually if the outhole switch is triggered it also does other things like resetting targets on the playfield and adding the bonuses to the score board. It would also keep activating the solenoid to launch the ball back into the ball shooter lane.

A friend had this issue on his Fireball Classic. Came down to wonky trough switches. I'd start there.

The switches located under the apron is where you need to start. Check the gap (space) between all of the contacts on those switches, if they are the blade style. If they are the snap action style switches, the only thing you can do is replace them. (this was the case with the Fireball I worked on)
If you haven't done so already, grab a copy of the manual for your game. It will help you with the internal diagnostics in the game as well as give you part #'s for the switches should you decide to replace any.
