There are a lot of smart people on these forums so I have a tech question.
Back in the digital camera days I could upload pics from the camera to my desktop super quick. Maybe 1 minute or 2.
Using my Samsung S7 phone from the time I plug in the USB cable to the time my recent pics are uploaded can be 5-10 painstaking minutes.
I'm using Windows 10 and the "Photos" program it came with to upload the pics.
It seems that the program searches the entire phone and maybe that is what is taking so long?
This is not new. This has been going on for years now but I'm wondering if I can speed things up.
What can I do to speed up the upload time?
I have deleted 1/2 of my 1500 pics on my phone to see if that helped but did not seem to help much.
I bought a high speed data cable and that does not seem to help much either.
Any tricks tips or ideas out there?
