I kinda lost interest in the first one after season 1

This seems to be true for Prison Break which has been on my long list of shows to watch. I started it a few weeks ago and it was really good but only halfway into the second season and find myself surfing on my tab and not paying attention as much. I heard from others who have watched the entire series that it only goes downhill right till the end.
