Homemade High Score

Hey guys, anyone have any ideas for making a homemade high score keeper/display?

My little guy is putting up some solid scores, but they will never break the current high scores on the machine so they will never be displayed on the screen. I'm proud of his score and he's proud of his scores and we would love to display them somewhere near the machine. My first thought/option is to have a whiteboard near by where we can track it that way. Anyone else have any other ideas. Something digital would be cool, but couldn't find anything on the net.

I have a buddy that made a laser-etched sign to keep track of hole-in-ones on Golden Tee with spaces for name, date etc.
We just use a Sharpie to fill it out. It’s pretty cool to see the progress and who has their name up there most often. If you keep the older scores it could be like the pinball equivalent of a ‘growth chart’ for your little guy.

letterboard.jpg What is cool is if you can find one of the old signs from snack bars etc, where you can use the plastic lettering to put the name of the game and score by each person. I think they are called letter boards.

Signed up for this service. Unfortunately my tv does not have an internet browser. Got it to work with an old box I had. Thanks for letting me know about this. Maybe the kids will play more often now.

Yup I just signed up for it too. Love it. Wish I had more games to make it look cooler. Maybe one day, but for now it looks really awesome and my kid loves seeing his name on the highscore board. It's also awesome when people come over and get competitive...although haven't done that yet because, you know...Covid.

While I know my gf would love to track her scores there is no way I could convince her to enter her scores every time she plays a game. Scorbit would be a better fit for me but waaaaaay more expensive.

We just keep the high score. So for example, my son scores 12,000,000 on Monster Bash, he'll click on Monster Bash and write his score. If his next game is 8,000,000....well he does nothing. If one day he beats 12,000,000, he will go back to the high score app and click on his name and type in his new score.

Yeah I get it. She just hates technology. Clicking on things and entering info is a pain in the ass.

The new GnR has the Scorbit function. Haven't set it up yet but I think it should be free to use with this game.
