If you have the right tools, the right replacement parts, and heaps of confidence to spare....go for it. Or you could just play it and try to cure the boredom that way......
If you're replacing the caps on the WPC driver, use caution to not lift any traces. There are a few on the top side under the bridge that I've seen people pull up all too often.
I would follow the advice given here and best thing to do is have the replacement caps on hand when your machine does decide to act up otherwise keep flipping away.
