Joker Poker Tilt at random times

Hi Everyone,

My Joker Poker has started tilting at random times. Not at all related to movement or shaking, it can happen at any time. It's home use so I can disconnect something if that's what's needed. Suggestions please, could someone point me in the right direction? I don't do much work on the machines, so an explanation for the layman would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

In addition to the Slam switch mod link provided above,
check that your power supply's +5V output is properly adjusted and not too low.
Measure with a DMM on the Volts DC scale on the MPU. Often the trim pot gets
intermittent/dirty with the years too.

I typically measure across both electrolytic capacitors on the middle left side of the MPU,
one capacitor is across the +5V supply arrival to the board, and the other -12V if I recall.

Also confirm the power cable harness and connector pins make good contact between
the top connector on the power supply board output to the MPU's center left finger connectors
power input.
Checking for cold solder joints under the header pins of the power supply (a bit painful)
and/or repinning the harness' Molex pins might also be required.

Good luck!
