I just was wondering how come pinballs for sale threads when sold are locked? the reason I was asking is because sometimes a machine sold is restored or repaired or changes hands and there might be the odd time to comment on them. more often than not im sure the thread would be d ead unless some changes were made but like the title says... I was just curious.

It is more house keeping and locked so they don't get bumped back to the top. If the same pin changes hands the seller can always reference original sale thread or start a new for sale thread.
