If Stern was smart they should consider teaming up with John and using his already designed game... half of the work is already done!

I wonder if Stern rushed out to obtain the license from Kiss after they saw the mock up that John brought out to the show, just to try and block Zidware from releasing another title???? If so, that's a pretty shitty move on Stern's part. (especially given the story behind the Kiss concept)

I would imagine Stern isn't really shaking in their boots over Zidware with zero releases after a few years in existence. They probably saw the reaction, both positive and negative, in the community to Pop's mockup, and figured that a licence that could stir up that much emotion would be good for business. You'd sell quite a few games to "Kollectors" out of the gate, plus the normal haul from pin-boys who need the latest and greatest. Caution to Stern to tread lightly though...they need to do the art with Ace and Peter...or generic enough so that hardcore fans won't be disappointed at their exclusion.

From what I've read over the last year, there's been ongoing talk between Stern and Kiss for some time. Jpop's game might have been the catalyst to seal the deal though.

But I don't think Stern considers Jersey Jack much of a threat yet, so they're really not going to fear anything jpop is doing, with no games released and limited numbers if they do get released.

Forget that, they should re-do the South Park pinball.

Same as they did with Simpsons, you have that old crappy DE Simpsons, and as a remake we go the masterpiece that is TSPP

Forget the crappy Sega South Park, get Lyman and I don't care which designer, and make us the South Park game that could be! 17 seasons of material to draw from!

That would be cool. Anything other than Gene Simmons!
