Just picked up my first machine and it is in need of a lockdown bar. 1975 Gottlieb. Any idea of where I might be able to find one? I tried PBR but they are out of stock and don't plan on restocking. Thanks

If its the gottlieb with the studs those are like unobtanium.

it is my understanding that Steve outsources much of the rpoduction for items and he has to order in bulk to make it feasible. A lot of times , he may decide not to place his own order because how slowly a product moved or sat on the shelf or he didnt like previous quality of a product or .. feels there isnt enough demand. For instance he had a lot of ... woodrail legs manufactured and last i heard he was down to about 40 but he might not again ... make an order as they didnt sell as quickly as he thought. i cant say the reasons for the lockdown bars themselves but he hasnt had them for sale for a few years now i think.

Pretty sure Pioneer is a stud style lockdown bar. And they are pretty hard to find. No repros available at this time, but here's the part number from the PBR website to help narrow your search:
