Has anyone had any success in getting their brass siderail and lockbar redone? Mine are worn and would like to redo if their is a semi-permanent/permanent solution.

You could send in your existing set set to Mike Chestnut. If you look at Drano's LOTR "Premium Edition" all the trim was done by Chestnut.

The trim on my TOTAN was also done by him and he does amazing work. Most of the high end restorers use him exclusively. Find out how much it is for a new replacement set as it may be cheaper and quicker this way.
