I just picked up a stargate and need help with the schematic for reassembly. Anyone have it can mind me calling to ask a few questions about it?
I should have photographed it before I took it apart, but everything is labelled, and I think some are aux. jacks but I want to make sure before trying to turn it on and watch it melt!!!Originally I asked for schematic, I was able to put it back together and play the game, so that works, however when I bought it (I knew about this) it does not generate any sound.
I believe the sound boards are working since on the sound test, we can hear it try to make noise in the speakers. I think it is a new board without a new sound eprom. Do they still use sound eproms? What are some things I can do to troubleshoot and narrow down what needs to be replaced? I can adjust the volume level and it makes more static noise, it is like it is trying to play an empty track (thus my believe it may just need to be flashed).
What do you guys think? I willing to post of video if that would help ...
