Ah ok, I didn't know. So the topper is the difference between le and standard?
The LE was the first production batch of the remake. They were assembled by Stern under contract with CGC. It is identical to the classic edition with the addition of a factory installed shaker and a numbered apron. It was manufactured 5 years before there was any thought of making the Royal.
Classic Edition (and LE) are the base model with a regular sized display. Getting color on the DMD was an add-on for both models.
Special Edition(SE) adds RGB GI & back panel lighting and XL color display, as well as a premium enhanced sound system.
Royal Edition is the same as SE plus:
- Metal speaker panel
- Black Mirror pinblades
- Black Diamond powder coat of all metal including coin door and speaker panel
- Factory installed shaker
When they released the Royal, they also decided to release the RGB GI, XL display, and topper as kits that could be added on to any MMr. Those kits are sold out everywhere and it's unclear if they will be manufactured/sold again.
