image 9410 looks like a chip in the playfield or maybe a glass reflection. I believe you said playfield was 10/10 just making sure.

What LEs are you referring to?

Even the most popular game (Godzilla) has dropped.

My Bond and Andrew's Venom are $3000-3500 under retail, and they're brand new!

The reality is, Stern and the others got way too greedy, and now the customer is left holding the bag.

These value of these games tank like a new car off the lot, and now people are reluctant to purchase because you're almost guaranteed to suffer a loss on anything you buy.

The beauty of these games used to be that you could buy them, play them a while, and then sell them to get my something else, or at least recoup most of your money.

That has drastically changed, and so has the appetite for purchasing.

And as things get more expensive, and people's debt climbs, they will be even more apprehensive about these purchases.

The writing is on the wall!

It's a consumer good. Things decrease in value as they should.

The pinball market is small and when the sell 1000 of a certain item, it shouldn't be considered "limited"

You can't be in the hobby as an investment and as long as you can come to grips with that, you will be fine. Makes no sense to buy an LE when they are released when you can buy them cheaper a month or two later.

Unless it's a dream theme and you want to open that box!

Pinpickle: you’re absolutely right. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Jaws will be the true litmus test. If the LE sells out day 1, then it’s just going to be rinse & repeat.
In any event, free bump for the seller. MET is one of the greatest pins ever made and this LE is a beaut.

I agree with both of you.

However, I don't think they need Jaws to be their test. The are still selling out of LEs on all their games, even duds like Venom.

JP 30th and EHOH BRK sat on Intro's site for a while, but eventually, they all sold.

A couple of years ago, they'd likely have been gone in a day or two, so things have definitely slowed, but maybe not to a point where Stern is in trouble.

I think they are beyond greedy. No way should they be charging what they are.

But if we continue to buy, then it is what it is.

Jaws will sell out day 1.
