There might be some software glitches but I think this update contains the color upgrade. However a chip is required to unlock it? There was some chatter about it yesterday on pinside.

I believe they are running the original code via an emulator, so if there is any software beyond the colorization it's likely bug fixes for the emulation side.

All ... CGC confirmed that a dev tool (the flipper 'issue' that is used for testing the light mangement) was included in 2.0, and it shouldn't have, so something of a human error in the compile process. So, not so much a bug but a compile flag that was not turned off.

SO - do not use 2.0, and CGC is expecting to have V2.1 this afternoon or tomorrow.
