Hi folks,

Just bought my first machine. A Recel Icarus. Machine is in pretty good shape cosmetically but has some mechanical issues. Have ordered some parts from Pinball Resource so I am anxious to get the pop bumpers, slingshots to work properly. However the machine is not scoring properly. Often the bonus scores at the end of a play will go on for ever in a never ending loop so if someone could suggest a fix for this then that would be great. Also should I clean all of the contacts on the machine?

Most have been where you are going. the bible what most suggest is this site for learning about em machines and repairing them http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index.htm . i am not familiar with that game so i am not sure how the bonus scores? is it a certain point that is counting ie 10s or 100;s? .. often for constant scoring it is a stuck switch on the playfield . if its scoring 100;s constantly? check everything that initates the same scoring.

That looks like a great website. Thank you for the link. I will go through some of the diagnostics that they recommend and see if I can figure it out. Thanks again
