Bluffs Pinball started up in January 2016 in a warehouse in Central Scarborough.

We've now played 4 seasons (as of March 23 at least) and are starting our next season on April 6.

It has become an excellent time to get together, compete (but not too seriously - we pride ourselves on our relaxed atmosphere), hang out. A lot of us have become quite good friends, and we have Bluffs to thank for that. We have about 20 regulars and a number who come out when they can, but we're always looking to grow.

If you like playing pinball and are looking for a regular place to get out, hang out and play in Toronto, then come check out Bluffs on April 6th. You won't find a more diverse lineup of machines available on a regular basis anywhere in Toronto.

We do our best to put you in a group with people at the same skill level as you, so no one is getting destroyed - well, occasionally you get Zeused, but we can't help that, it happens to almost everyone sometime -

The upcoming season is every other Thursday, and one Friday a month (although we go an extra Thursday in April to avoid Allentown weekend). The plan for the fall is to simplify and run every Thursday night.

Come check us out - it's just $10 to try it once. We've got over 20 machines up and running, and are always working to get more and keep the lineup changing. If you've come out once, come again. You probably won't recognize the place. Hit up our most recent Youtube video.

Hit up www.portunionpinball.com then the Register Tab and I'll get back to you with more information, precise location, etc.

Being new to pinball, I had just bought my first "starter pinball machine" (goldwings) and was hoping to get out and try different pins since I've never really played or paid much attention to them when I went to the arcades as a kid. When I first heard about the Bluffs league starting up I thought this was a great chance to meet other people that enjoy playing pinball and try out pins I've never seen or played. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the first league night grand opening and wow was my mind blown away! They had games from different Eras, brands and games from pinball arcade which was the only games I knew. Everybody was extremely friendly, great atmosphere and best of all tons of pinball machines to be played. Competition wise I was nervous at first since I had only been playing pinball for a couple of months on my 1 machine and was a total noob! Luckily we were grouped according to skill level and I later learned that EM games are actually fun and can defeat even the best of players. After experiencing my first night of real pinball I was hooked instantly and had to tell everyone I knew that this was one of the coolest and greatest thing and why did it take me so long to do this. Since then I've attended every league night that I could ( I think I missed only 1 :p ) and its something that I look forward to each and every week. I've met alot of great people and made alot of great friends. I've been fortunate to watch this league grow and it has become something very special and unique. If your still on the fence about attending a league night do yourself a favour and come and check it out! I promise you, you won't regret it! If you worried you don't know anyone message me or find me there I'm Kevin the chinese guy :)

*Duplicated* from the Thanksgiving thread...

As time does pass, I find more and more to be thankful for.
A few shout outs are overdue and I wanted to thank the Bluffs crew.

Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make Bluffs Pinball a great place to play.
Thanks to Walt (The Administrator), Menace (Tech Overlord), Tim (Timinator), Kevin (Pianoman), Scot (T1), Chris (Y) and everyone else who assists regularly to make Bluffs the great thing it has now become. Much appreciated.

FYI - Bluffs Pinball is my shop in Scarberia where all things "non-related" to my Audio-Visual Production Company now live.
FYI - www.portunionpinball.com is where you find out all of the Bluffs Pinball event details as well as Pinball for Change deets from Walt.

Thanks to everyone who regularly assists with bringing parts and pins to and from Bluffs. Spiro, Tim, Walt, Drano, Stephane, Ed, Chris Silver, Sparky, and Kevin to name the most recent movements... and with many thanks with pins on loan from Ed (Future Spa) and Dave (EBD) as well. Many thanks to Robert and Doug @ Player 1 Amusements for parts and advice. Thanks to all. I couldn't and wouldn't do it alone, and I thank you all for your assistance.

Thanks again.
All the best.
Enjoy.
