No Good Gophers New Rules New Code

For those of you who own a NGG, you can go on pinside to follow and post some of your feedback and suggestions on the new rules and code being re-written by James here:

He recently finished up code for Demolition Man called "Demolition Time" which can be seen here to give you an idea of what is possible in FreeWPC. No additional hardware such as a P-ROC or computer is required and you will be able to order a chip from him when he is done likely for $20usd or else he can give you a copy of the code if requested and someone local with a chip burner like Dave Astill can do this for you as well.

Sounds like a cool project-looking forward to seeing how it turns out. It's too bad that you can't update over USB though-almost makes it worth buying a ROM burner for it.

I'm glad to hear that there is progress being made with FreeWPC. I stopped checking GitHub for releases as it appeared interest had stalled some time ago. Being able to simply pop in some ROMs to change a game's play using all the existing hardware is appealing.
