I paid a fraction of that that for mine, and I have NOS sticks and a new CPO... not to mention my coin door lights work.

Then again it was at least 5 years ago so...

the last two I almost got were around $800 each, and that is right around where I'd be willing to pay, something sub 1K.

Wow... you'd think for an $1800 Robotron it would be mint, come with the correct length joysticks and at least have all the coin door lights working. Sheesh...

Fanatics ;)

FWIW If it's become that difficult to locate a Robotron; Joust can be converted to Robotron through it sharing the same two cab styles offered and board sets. The longer sticks on Robotron used to be the hardest parts to locate. Unfortunately Joust is also valued as it stands.

No idea Dude, but it sounds pretty steep to me.

I know they couldn't give them away at the the Starburst auctions a few years back; mind you they were pretty beat up too. No one seemed to want a giant cabinet like that in their house (let alone move it!)

I agree with Hammerhead. I remember seeing them going dirt cheap back at the old location auctions. I recall golden tee was another almost give away as they had so many.
If you really want a zombie shooter I would try to get one of the versions where the screen is set back and it's more open. they probably come apart for some more easy movement.
